Peeler Earns MAC Singles Player Of The Week Honors

MUNCIE, Ind. - Sophomore Emma Peeler of the Ball State women's tennis team has been tabbed Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
On Saturday, Peeler took to the top court against Middle Tennessee's Lee Barnard winning her first set fairly easily by a score of 6-1.
Although, Peeler dropped the second frame to Barnard she came back fiercely in the third after trailing Barnard to win the three set thriller 7-6. Peeler's win at No. 1 singles clinched the 4-3 victory for Ball State Saturday over the Blue Raiders.
With Peeler claiming the win for the Cardinals, BSU improved to 2-2 overall and will now travel to Youngstown State for two matches on Saturday with first serves scheduled for 11 a.m. ET and 3 p.m. ET.
