Soccer Tops Ohio 2-1 in Exhibition

WESTFIELD, Ind. -- The Ball State soccer team defeated Ohio, 2-1, Wednesday afternoon indoors at Grand Park in an exhibition game that was a late add to the schedule.
Kennedy Metzger accounted for one of the BSU goals courtesy an assist from Melissa Diceman. Tiffani Torres also scored off an assist from Nicky Potts.
BSU is in the midst of preparations for its delayed, 10-game regular season which is set to open March 4 at home against Toledo.
The Cardinals' final exhibition game, originally scheduled for Sunday against Miami (Ohio), has been postponed and will be played later next week at the Briner Sports Complex. Stay tuned for more updates.
