Cardinals Lead the Way with 18 Academic All-MAC Team Selections

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2021 Women's Soccer Academic All-MAC Team on Thursday. The Ball State soccer team paved the way with 18 honorees, which led the MAC.
Grace Alsop, Maria Broering, Claudia Como, Sammi Corcoran, Melissa Diceman, Jenna Dombrowski, Abby Elgert, Avery Fenchel, Mac Henson, Kerrigan Johnson, Shelby Kean, Tatiana Mason, Kennedy Metzger, Lizzie Philibin, Nicky Potts, Chelcy Ralph, Emily Simmons, and Lexy Smith all earned spots on the Academic All-Mac Team. These young women epitomize what a student-athlete is, and it shows with their hard work and dedication on and off the pitch.
Broering, Como, Fenchel, and Mason achieved the honor while producing a perfect 4.0.

I believe our group is a great representative of our program, Ball State University, the MAC, and the NCAA of what it looks like to be a student-athlete.
