Megan Ciolli Bartlett Making the Move to Texas
June 26, 2020 | Softball
MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State's Megan Ciolli Bartlett is stepping down from her position as head softball coach to join the University of Texas softball coaching staff.
In her five years at Ball State, Ciolli Bartlett led the Cardinals to a 141-108 overall record (.567) while registering three consecutive 30-win seasons from 2017-19. Over that stretch, she helped guide the Cardinals to the 2018 Mid-American Conference West Division title. Ball State piled up 37 victories in 2018, marking the fourth-most wins in a single season in program history.
During the abbreviated 2020 campaign, Ball State registered a MAC-best 18-9 overall record while rating highly in the NCAA Division I team statistics for on-base percentage (26th – .405), scoring (32nd – 6.2), OPS (32nd – .908), HRs-per-game (35th – 1.07), slugging percentage (35th – .503) and team ERA (37th – 2.22).
A national search for a new Ball State head coach will begin immediately.
