Ball State finished third at MAC indoor meet in February
During the coming weeks, Ball State All-Access will be conducting regular #CardinalCheckIn interviews with current and former student-athletes to find out how they're getting through the current COVID-19 quarantine period.
Ball State track made an enormous jump forward this spring, finishing third at the MAC indoor championships just before concerns around COVID-19 shuttered the sports world. The Cardinals scored 77 points, their most since 2008 and the third place finish was the team's best since 2009.
On this edition of Cardinal Check-In Ivy McKee and Karlie Zumbro, who both scored at the MAC meet, discuss having the outdoor season canceled, how they've worked to continue the program's growing momentum, their academic pursuits and more.
