Cardinal Check-In: Zach Plesac

During the coming weeks, Ball State All-Access will be conducting regular #CardinalCheckIn interviews with current and former student-athletes to find out how they're getting through the current COVID-19 quarantine period.

Zach Plesac made his MLB debut with the Cleveland Indians last year after being selected in the twelfth round of 2016's draft. The former MAC Freshman Pitcher-of-the-Year, Plesac won 20 games and struck out nearly 200 batters in his Ball State career.

The right-hander appeared in only 50 games over three minor league seasons before getting called to 'The Show.' He made his first big league appearance May 28th against the Red Sox, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing only one run opposite David Price.
