Setting The Stage
Ball State will get its second look at Boulder Creek Golf Club this week. The Cardinals opened the spring season at the venue a month ago, finishing second of four teams in the Battle at Boulder Creek. Liz Kim was runner up that week.

Kim has led Ball State in both spring events so far, averaging 75.5 over six rounds. Most recently, she tied for ninth at the Rio Verde Invitational. Manon Tounalom also finished in the top 20 at Rio Verde, helping the Cardinals finish sixth in the 18-team field.

Xavier won the Jackrabbit Invitational last year but is not back to defend its title. Tournament host South Dakota State finished runner-up. Ball State is competing in the event for the first time.
