Setting the Stage
Liz Kim leads a talented and experienced Ball State team into the 2019-20 season after winning an ultra-competitive qualifying series over the past few weeks. Kim, Morgan Lewis and Manon Tounalom were separated by only two strokes at the top over six qualifying rounds.
Tounalom returns to the Redbird Invitational for the fourth time, having posted two top-10 showings, including a second-place finish last year. Her 54-hole total of 217 (+1) in 2018 ranks among the top-10 scores in the 36-year history of the tournament. The Cardinals finished third out of 14 teams at last year's event.
Tiegan Taylor will make her Ball State debut after joining the Cardinals this year as a transfer from New Mexico State. She competed 15 times over her two seasons with the Aggies and adds yet another veteran piece to this year's BSU squad.
