Soccer Travels to Omaha Friday for First Road Test of 2019

MUNCIE, Ind. – After a perfect 4-0 start to the season, the Ball State University soccer team takes its unbeaten record on the road for the first time in 2019 when it travels to take on Omaha Friday night in Nebraska.

ABOUT OMAHA (1-2-1)
The Mavericks enter Friday with a win over Northern Iowa, tie against Kansas State and losses to Illinois State and Memphis. Omaha produces a balanced offensive attack as its four goals on the season have come from four different players. Jaden Thiem leads the team in points with three on a goal and an assist. Kelly Lemke and Erin Bunker have split time in goal for the Mavericks.
SERIES HISTORY
Ball State defeated Omaha last season in the only ever meeting between the two schools. The Cardinals won by a tally of 3-1 while celebrating their seniors on the first home match of the season. MAC Freshman of the Year Tatiana Mason scored a goal in that game.
