
Women's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Award

MUNCIE, Ind. - For the 19th time in 23 seasons, the Ball State women's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team, after earning a 3.5 grade point average on Ball State's 4.0 scale.Â
 In addition, five members of the squad received individual ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades — senior Audrey Berger (3.6), senior Peyton Gollhofer (3.8), junior Rebecca Herrington (3.6), freshman Livia Lukacs (3.9) and sophomore Victoria Sec (3.6).
 The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.0 scale). All varsity letterwinners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year (including fall 2017 and spring 2018).
 In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letterwinner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman through senior year).MUNCIE, Ind. - The 2018-19 Ball State University men's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team after earning a 3.3 grade point average on Ball State's 4.0 scale. This marks the seventh straight year the Cardinals have earned the team honor.
