Three Women’s Golfers Tabbed to Academic All-MAC Team

Manon Tounalom honored for second consecutive year
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State women's golfers Manon Tounalom, Liz Kim and Emily Knouff were named to the 2019 Academic All-MAC Team released Monday.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must own a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and participate in at least 50 percent of her team's events. Freshmen are not eligible.
Tounalom was named the squad for the second straight year. The junior owns a 3.63 GPA in finance and led Ball State this season with a 75.85 scoring average.
Kim, a sophomore, boasts a 3.97 GPA in psychological science, while classmate Emily Knouff carries a 3.69 GPA in nursing.
All three golfers played every round of competition this season. They are now eligible for MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete voting, which will be conducted by the league's faculty athletics representatives.
