
Swimming & Diving Spends Weekend at Miami Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. – After nearly three weeks since its last competition, the Ball State University swimming and diving team is back in action this weekend when it travels to Oxford, Ohio for the Miami Invitational Thursday through Saturday.
The Cardinals competed at the invitational last season when the men finished fourth and the women came in fifth. BSU will look to climb the standings this time out. Divers Rachel Bertram and Hunter Ongay were bright spots for Ball State at the competition last year, both setting career bests.

The schedule for the invite is as follows:
Thursday: (prelims at 10 a.m., finals at 6 p.m.): 200 free relay, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 400 medley relay
Friday: (prelims at 10 a.m., finals at 6 p.m.): 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 800 free relay
Saturday: (prelims at 9 a.m., finals at 4:30 p.m. beginning with the 1650 free): 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 free relay, 1650 free
