Field Hockey Has Successful Fall Semester In The Classroom

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team had a successful academic start to the 2019-20 school year, after posting a team fall grade point average of 3.52 on Ball State's 4.0 scale.
Caitlyn Grodzicki and Arantxa Rosainz Caloca led the Cardinals by wrapping up their fall classes with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Grace Chavez, Haley Jolly, Libby Kraus, Jenna McKune, Angel Nkosi and Michelle Shampton all finished the semester above a 3.8 GPA. The Cardinals had 13 players achieve above a 3.6 GPA and while 23 players attained a 3.0 GPA or higher.
After the 2019 season, the Cardinals placed nine members on the 2019 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team. Ball State field hockey also celebrated Hannah Bohn for earning her bachelor's degree at the December 14, 2019 commencement.Â
