
Cardinals Close Regular Season at Miami Thursday

MUNCIE, Ind. – Still in the hunt for the Mid-American Conference regular season championship, the Ball State University soccer team closes its regular season Thursday when it takes on Miami in a Halloween showdown.

ABOUT MIAMI (4-12-1, 3-6-1)
The Redhawks broke a six-match winless streak Sunday when they defeated Kent State by a score of 2-0. Miami is currently in 11th place in the conference standings but has a chance to make the MAC Tournament with a win against the Cardinals. Olivia Winnett leads Miami with six points from three goals on the year, and Lyda Bogdanovitch has five. Izzie Vaccari has seen the most time in goal this season and has 114 saves to go with a 4-10-1 record.

Ball State leads the all-time series with Miami by a count of 12-8-3. The Cardinals downed the Redhawks in Muncie last season in overtime, 3-2.
