Women’s Swim & Dive Takes Weekend Road Trip for Two Meets

MUNCIE, Ind. – After a successful showing to open the year at the Indiana Intercollegiates Meet, the women of the Ball State University swimming and diving team continue their season with road contests at Youngstown State Friday and Buffalo Saturday.

BALL STATE NOTES

Ball State scored 483.5 points to finish 2nd in an 11-team field at the Indiana Intercollegiates Meet to open the season. The Cardinals also finished second in a six-team field at the same meet last season
Diver Rachel Bertram recorded a career best on the 3M with a score of 306.10. That score earned her first place in the event and is fourth best in school history
Freshman Shelby Crist's performance in the 100 Back was the 10th best time in school history
Cailin Merck and Apsara Sakbun both notched lifetime bests
