Women’s Tennis Finishes Day Two At Purdue Invite

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team finished day two of action at the Purdue invitational Saturday afternoon.
In singles play, Isabelle Dohanics, Rebecca Herrington and Lilya Hadab each advanced in their respective singles flights to the championship match. Dohanics and Herrington will play in the Hammer Down singles championship flight Sunday at Purdue. Lilya Hadab captured a three set thriller 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 which advanced her to the final round of the Boiler Up Singles Draw today.
The Ball State women's tennis team will close out play at the Purdue Invitational Sunday afternoon when Dohanics, Herrington and Hadab will compete in their respective championship flights.
After this weekend, the Cardinals will continue fall action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals in Chattanooga, Tenn. from Oct. 11-15.
