Play Ball! Ball State Baseball Set to Host Two Games This Fall

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team has a pair of games scheduled for the 2018 fall season. The Cardinals host Butler this Sunday, Sept. 30 and Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, Oct. 13. Both games will start at 1 p.m.
Ball State concluded the 2018 spring season with a 32-26 record and finished tied for second in the MAC standings with a 17-10 league ledger.
The team's top four pitchers from last spring are back on the roster again this year led by second team all-league hurler John Baker and 2018 Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American Drey Jameson. In the field, shortstop Noah Powell, utility player Griffin Hulecki and catcher Chase Sebby are the top returnees.
Ball State has 15 new faces on its roster – 11 freshmen and four transfers.
