MUNCIE, Ind. –If a determined Ball State Football program getting back to the gridiron isn't reason enough to visit Scheumann Stadium Thursday for the Cardinals' home opener (7 p.m. vs. Central Connecticut State), then here are a few others.
• Sell-a-Thon Returns Wednesday
Last year, the Ball State ticket office saw its busiest day of the year during the inaugural Sell-a-Thon. Can Cardinals fans match it in 2018? Stay tuned to BallStateSports.com for more information.
• CharlieTown
Join the Ball State Alumni Association on the west lawn of the Alumni Center for CharlieTown Tailgates two hours prior to each of these home games: August 30, September 22, September 29, October 6 and October 20. Don't miss the food trucks, fun, entertainment, and camaraderie, plus a free CharlieTown t-shirt at these FREE, spirited tailgates! The Homecoming tailgate on October 20 will have a commemorative gift! Join us at CharlieTown as we celebrate Ball State's first 100 years!
• First Responders' and Military Appreciation Night
All public safety and military personnel with appropriate ID will receive a complimentary ticket for the home opener. Join us as we honor our first responders and military personnel. In addition, we will welcome our Ford Oval of Honor veteran honorees.
• Halftime Fireworks Show and the Pride of Mid-America
Stay in your seats for what promises to be a spectacular marching band performance followed by an awesome fireworks display!
• New Fan Enhancements
