Third Annual First Merchants Ballpark Fan Day Set For Saturday, May 19

MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State baseball will host First Merchants Ballpark Fan Day on Saturday, May 19, as the Cardinals take on Western Michigan in the regular season finale. This is the event's third year of gathering the community to support Ball State baseball. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. (updated 5/18/18, 8 p.m.)
"This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to watch college baseball in an electric atmosphere thanks to First Merchants Bank," Ball State baseball head coach Rich Maloney said. "First Merchants Bank has been a pillar in our community for more than 100 years and a great supporter of Ball State and especially Ball State baseball. We are grateful for their partnership with our program."
The usual exciting trip to the ballpark will be infused with more fun thanks to First Merchants Bank. The following deals and promotions will be in play:
-The first 200 spectators to arrive will receive a lunch package good for a hot dog, chips and Pepsi drink.
-The first 100 spectators will receive an event T-Shirt.
-There will be drawings for prize packs during each inning.
-$5,000 to one lucky winner if the Cards hit a grand slam.
As always with baseball games at Ball State, admission and parking is free of charge with games taking place at Ball Diamond inside the First Merchants Ballpark Complex. For additional details, call 765-285-1474.
