Gymnastics Looks to Improve at Western Michigan

MUNCIE, Ind.,-- The Ball State gymnastics team looks to improve its individual and team performances from last weekends (194.225-191.950) loss against Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan this Saturday, Mar. 10 at 4 p.m. EST.Â
Last week against Eastern Michigan the Cardinals started strong on vault with a team total of 48.950. Maddie Macdonald stood first with a new personal record on vault scoring a 9.900. Clare Collins claimed second place with a personal best score of 9.800. Arden Hudson, Sydney Finke, and Bri Slonim landed in third place with scores of 9.750.
On bars Jordyn Penny notched second place with a 9.800. Jackie Duffy landed in fifth with a 9.700.
The team continued to beam where Jordyn Penny stood third with a 9.800 and Baylee Bell in fourth with a 9.775.
On floor Baylee Bell claimed second place with a score of 9.775.
The Cardinals will continue on the road to Central Michigan Thursday, Mar. 15 at 7 p.m. EST before returning to Central Michigan for the Mid-American Conference Championships Saturday, Mar. 24.
