Women’s Tennis Completes Day Two Of WMU Super Challenge

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Ball State women's tennis team completed its second day of competition at the WMU Super Challenge Saturday.
In singles action, Audrey Berger took a match from host Western Michigan after posting a three set thriller (7-5, 3-6, 6-1) over Femke Tjon-A-Joe. Lilya Hadab continued the Cardinals winning ways after defeating Lewis' Oana Carmen Trus by score of, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Victoria Sec claimed the third singles victory for Ball State with her 7-6 (8-6), 6-4, defeat over Big Ten foe Indiana's Somer Henry. Isabelle Dohanics rounded out the wins after registering a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 defeat over Cleveland State's Laura Prosenjak.
The Cardinals were able to put four doubles victories under their belt. Dohanics paired up with Hadab and beat Western Michigan's duo of Jeryn Jack and Gabriela Slavova, 6-3. The twosome would also defeat Lewis 6-0. Ball State's doubles tandem of Sec and Sarah Swiderski also posted a 2-0 mark with wins over Lewis and Big Ten foe Indiana.
The Ball State women's tennis team will wrap up its fall play at the WMU Super Challenge Sunday at 10 a.m.
