MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football team has a quick turnaround this week as the Cardinals head to Ohio Thursday night to face the Bobcats for the first time in three years. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network beginning at 7 p.m.

Three Things to Know:
1. These two teams lead the MAC in third down conversions. Ball State ranks first at 47.2 percent while Ohio is right behind at 43.9 percent. Ball State has converted 67 third downs this season, which is more than any other team in the nation.
2. Junior RB James Gilbert needs 45 more rushing yards to pass Corey Croom (1989-92) for seventh on Ball State's all-time rushing list. Gilbert was held to just 41 rushing yards on 13 carries last week against Eastern Michigan. He currently sits with 2,681 yards rushing.
3. Ball State's top four tacklers this year are its four starting linebackers – Jaylin Thomas (60), Jacob White (59), Ray Wilborn (53) and Christian Albright (42). Thomas recorded a personal-high 10 stops two weeks ago at CMU. Albright has been involved in a sack in four of the last five games.
By the Numbers:
4 – Junior QB Riley Neal has four rushing touchdowns the last four games. He piled up a season-high 77 yards rushing a week ago against Eastern Michigan.
5th – This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2015 and just the fifth meeting at Ohio since 1995.
80 – RB Will Jones notched Ball State's longest offensive play of the year last week, an 80-yard touchdown run.
