Morgan Hagee Named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ball State field goal kicker Morgan Hagee was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week following his game-winning field goal at Central Michigan this past Saturday.

Hagee, a native of Plainfield, Indiana, nailed a 36-yard field goal with 47 seconds left in regulation to give the Cardinals a 24-23 win at Central Michigan. The game-winning field goal was the first for Ball State since 2014. Hagee leads the MAC with 11 field goals. He booted a personal-best 51-yard field goal two weeks ago against Northern Illinois.

Hagee is in his fourth year as Ball State's field goal kicker and ranks fourth in the program annals with 268 career points.

Ball State (3-4, 2-1 MAC) returns to Muncie for its Homecoming game this Saturday, Oct. 20 against Eastern Michigan. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. from Scheumann Stadium on ESPN+.
