Big Hoops Doubleheader Saturday inside Worthen

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and arrive early to this Saturday's basketball doubleheader to avoid congestion at the main Gate 1 arena entry. Gates open at 11 a.m. James Whitford and the men's basketball team will host Akron in a nationally-televised (CBS Sports Network) contest at noon, followed by Brady Sallee and the women's basketball squad hosting Northern Illinois at 2:30 p.m.
A ticket to the men's game will provide free entry to the women's game. Women's game ticket holders will not be allowed entry until 1 p.m. or halftime of the men's game. The men's basketball game is a Chick-fil-A Family Game. Fans are encouraged to visit Chick-fil-A in Muncie on McGalliard for a specially-priced ticket voucher.
Face painting, balloon artistry and games will be provided on the concourse at Upper Level Gate 1 throughout the day, and the Ball State bookstore will be on site selling officially-licensed merchandise. It is also Cardinal Kids Club Day Saturday. Visit the Kids Club tent on game day for more information or call the ticket center for details on special events for members. The gymnastics team will be signing autographs between games on the concourse, too.
