Ball State tied for ninth in a large field of 19 teams last week at its home event, The Cardinals Classic, in its second tournament action of the fall. Morgan Nadaline, the team's lone senior, led the Cardinals in a tie for 12th place with a career-best 54-hole score of 221 (+5).
Manon Tounalom paces the Cardinals through two events with a 75.67 stroke average. The sophomore has finished among the top 30 in both tournaments, including a tie for 10th place at the season-opening Redbird Invitational.
Freshman Emily Knouff competed as an individual in the first two tournaments and earned her way into this week's lineup with a pair of solid showings.
Coming Up
Ball State will play two events in Kentucky during October to close out its fall schedule. The Cardinals are set to compete in Kentucky's Bettie Lou Evans Invitational (Oct. 6-8) and Louisville's Cardinal Cup (Oct. 21-22).
