A Perfect Weekend for the Ball State Baseball Alumni Reunion
September 12, 2017 | Baseball
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team welcomed back its alumni this past weekend for the annual reunion gathering.
"What a tremendous weekend," head coach Rich Maloney said. "It was so good to have so many come back to our Alumni Weekend! There were plenty of memories shared, stories told and just good old fellowship all weekend. The strength of the Ball State baseball program is alive and well!"
The weekend began with a tailgate before the football home opener against UAB on Saturday. The following day, more than 100 golfers turned out for a golf outing at The Players Club in Yorktown. Heath Riley, TJ Thieme, Taylor Bowser and Damien Barr took home top honors at the golf outing at 19-under.
"The Players Club was a great host and Pete Duck's Inn catering was outstanding," Maloney added. "Thanks to all who were able to join us!"
