Schedule Change for Upcoming Ball State–Dayton Series
March 16, 2017 | Baseball
MUNCIE, Ind. – Due to projected inclement weather in the region on Friday, the Ball State and Dayton baseball teams have agreed to move Friday's scheduled game to Sunday.
The weekend schedule now shapes up with a Saturday doubleheader in Muncie and a Sunday doubleheader in Dayton. First pitch is slated for noon on both days.
Saturday's doubleheader in the friendly confines of Ball Diamond at First Merchants Ballpark Complex is the home opener for the Cardinals (8-8). Senior pitcher BJ Butler is expected to get the ball in game one.
This is the fourth consecutive year the two schools have met on the baseball diamond. Ball State leads the all-time series, 26-10.
