Women’s Swim and Dive Back Home Friday and Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's swimming and diving team will return home for a double dose of home meets. The Cardinals will host Illinois State on Friday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. Ball State will then compete in a co-ed meet with Tiffin on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.

- Freshman Audrey Schank is making her presence known in her first season as a Cardinal. Schank is currently 10th in the MAC in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.60.
- Senior Andrea Richter is in the MAC top 16 in two events. Richter is 16th in the 100 backstroke (58.03) and 14th in the 100 butterfly (57.42).
- Team captain Amanda Kedzierski is currently the highest ranked Cardinal swimmer, sitting at eighth in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.96).
- On the board, Rachel Bertram sits in the top five in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter. Bertram posted a score of 261.10 on the 1-meter at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet, placing her fourth in the conference. In the 3-meter, Bertram made the Diving Zones cut in the meet against Toledo and Oakland with a season high score of 292.65. That score places her third in the conference.
- Another time to note is the 200 medley relay time recorded in the meet against Toledo and Oakland. Schank, Kedzierski, Richter, and Peighton Gilbert came together to post a time of 1:44.90, putting them at 10th in school history.
