Men’s Golf Set for Final Round in Hawaii

Cunningham led Cardinals on day two
LAHAINA, Hawaii -- Freshman Jack Cunningham led the Ball State men's golf team Saturday with a 75 in the second round of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic.
The Cardinals posted a score of 306 as a team to drop a couple spots into a tie for 18th among a strong field at Royal Ka'anapali.
LSU, the No. 12 team in the country, surged to the lead with a round of 275. The Tigers (-25) are three shots ahead of California and four shots ahead of South Carolina entering the final round.
California's Colin Morikawa (-10) holds the individual lead by one stroke over Scott Stevens of South Carolina and Andy Spencer of Kansas.
Michael VanDeventer (+3) is the top Ball State golfer in a tie for 52nd place.
The tournament will conclude Sunday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. HT (1:30 p.m. ET).
