Women’s Swim and Dive to Compete in Mid-Season Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's swimming team will travel to Oxford, Ohio for the Miami Invitational Nov. 30-Dec. 2. The Ball State women's diving team will be competing in the Eastern Michigan Invite Dec.1-Dec.2 in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Below are notable Cardinal times and scores for Ball State going into this weekend:
- Peighton Gilbert leads the team in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.31, which also places her 20th in the Mid-American Conference.
- Anne Vormohr leads the Cardinal squad in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.58. Vormohr is also second on the team in the 50 freestyle, which places her 21st in the MAC.
- Audrey Schank is currently ranked in the top 16 in the conference in two events. Schank posted a time of 57.60 against Ohio, placing her 16th in the MAC. In the 200 backstroke, Schank is also 16th in the conference with a time of 2:06.46.
- Amanda Kedzierski sits at 10th in the conference in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.96, which was posted against Ohio.
- Kayla Molnar and Sophie Bader both lead the team in three different events. Molnar is atop the team in the 500 freestyle (5:15.49), 1000 freestyle (10:43.05), and 1650 freestyle (18:21.08). Out of those three events, Molnar is 12th in the conference in the 1650 freestyle and 22nd in the 1000 freestyle. Bader is first among the Ball State squad in the 200 butterfly (2:07.79), 200 IM (2:11.13), and 400 IM (4:38.94).
- On the diving board, Rachel Bertram is fourth in the MAC with a score of 288.09 in the 1-meter. Bertram is also fifth in the conference in the 3-meter after marking a score of 292.65 against Toledo and Oakland.
