Men’s Swim and Dive Hits the Road for Eastern Michigan Invite

MUNCIE, Ind.– The Ball State men's swimming and diving team is set to compete in their mid-season invitational in Ypsilanti, Mich. this weekend. The Cardinals will be in Michigan Dec. 1-Dec. 2.

Below are notable times and score going into this weekend's meet:
- Cullen Tyler leads the Cardinal squad in four events. Tyler is atop the team in the 100 breaststroke (59.94), 200 breaststroke (2:11.88), 100 butterfly (53.50), and 200 IM (2:04.66). Tyler's time in the 100 breaststroke places him 19th in the Mid-American Conference. In the 200 breaststroke, Tyler's time set against Tiffin places him 20th in the conference.
- Ben Andrew is first on the team in the 50 freestyle (21.66) and in the 100 freestyle (48.03). His top time in the 50 freestyle places Andrew 21st in the conference. Andrew is also 23rd in the MAC in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:15.50.
- Isaac Walling leads the team in the 1000 freestyle after posting a time of 10:15.37, placing him 17th in the MAC. Walling is also first on the team in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:15.29.
- Logan Ackley is another Cardinal who leads the team in multiple events. Ackley is atop the squad in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:56.70, which places him 20th in the conference. Ackley also leads the team in the 100 backstroke with a final time of 54.44 set against Tiffin.
- Davis Meyn and Ryan Jackowiak are two newcomers who are currently in the top 16 in the conference. Meyn is 14th in the 1650 freestyle (17:51.56) and Jackowiak is 15th in that same event with a time of 17:54.68. Jackowiak is also ranked 18th in the MAC in the 1000 freestyle (10:32.31).
