Cardinals Hit the Road to Face Toledo and Oakland

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's swimming and diving team continue their 2017-18 season with a road meet in Toledo, Ohio. The Cardinals will face the Toledo Rockets and the Oakland Grizzlies Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m.

- Peighton Gilbert put herself in 14th in the conference at the meet against Ohio with a time of 24.31 in the 50 freestyle.
- Also in the 50 freestyle, Anne Vormohr is currently fifteenth. Vormohr marked a score of 24.39 against Ohio to hear that 15th spot.
- Freshman Audrey Schank is making her presence known in her first season as a Cardinal. Schank is currently tied for eighth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.60.
- Senior Andrea Richter is in the MAC top 16 in two events. Richter is 14th in the 100 backstroke (58.03) and 11th in the 100 butterfly (57.42).
- Team captain Amanda Kedzierski is currently the highest ranked Cardinal, sitting at fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.96).
- On the board, Rachel Bertram sits in the top five in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter. Bertram posted a score of 261.10 on the 1-meter at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet, placing her fourth in the conference. In the 3-meter, Bertram earned a score of 276.50 at the Indiana Intercollegiate to place her fifth in the MAC.
