Men’s Swimming and Diving Falls to Grand Valley State

MUNCIE, Ind.– The Ball men's swimming and diving team welcomed Grand Valley State to Lewellen Aquatics Center Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals were unable to take down the Lakers and fell, 184-108.
The Cardinals had four first place finishes on the day. Cullen Tyler earned two of them, one in the 100 breaststroke and one in the 200 IM. Ben Andrew earned the top spot in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.66. Ball State ended the day with the top spot in the 400 freestyle relay, which was made up of Spencer Ball, Banistre Lienhart, Drew Weeks, and Ben Andrew.
Other notable finishes on the day include a second place finish in the 400 medley relay (3:33.98), third place finish by Spencer Ball in the 100 backstroke (54.61), second place finish by Ben Andrew in the 100 freestyle (48.03) and a second place finish by Logan Ackley in the 200 backstroke (1:57.21).
The Ball State men's swimming and diving team will return to action on Dec. 1-2 at the Eastern Michigan Invitational.
