Three Things to Know:
1. The 2017 senior class, featuring 10 players, will be honored before Tuesday's game against Miami. This year's class includes WR Jordan Hogue, OL Malik King, OL Pat Maloney, DL Reggie McGee, QB Jack Milas, DB David Moore, OL Vinnie Palazeti, DL John Swisher, DL Kevin Willis and DL Anthony Winbush.
2. Beginning this fall, Ball State and Miami will once again play every season as the schools have been granted rivalry status by the Mid-American Conference. The teams have agreed to play for the 'Red Bird Rivalry' trophy. The mascots of both schools are red birds. Ball State has been known as the Cardinals since 1927. Miami adopted the RedHawks moniker in 1997. The rivalry between the schools dates to 1931.
3. The freshman duo of RB Caleb Huntley and WR Justin Hall had '100' on their minds last week versus Buffalo. Huntley finished with a personal-high 141 yards rushing on 26 carries. Meanwhile, Hall reached 100 yards receiving for the second time this season. He also caught a 47-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, which was the team's longest pass play of the season.
By the Numbers:
1.5 – Senior DE Anthony Winbush needs 1.5 sacks to equal the Ball State single season record of 13 sacks set in 1981 and 1982.
10 – Junior CB Josh Miller leads the team with 10 pass break-ups in 2017.
36 – Senior DT Kevin Willis will be making his 36th and final career start Tuesday night, the most by any active Cardinal.
