Fan Voting Open for Ball State’s Lauren Roll as HERO of the Week

Junior midfielder is one of 10 candidates nationwide for weekly award
Ball State midfielder Lauren Roll has been nominated for the D1 Women's Soccer HERO of the Week award, an award from HERO Sports that recognizes the best individual performances of the week for NCAA sports.
The award is determined by fan votes and the poll closes this Friday at 3 p.m. ET. Votes may be cast once per hour until the deadline, and the winners will be announced Friday afternoon.

Roll scored the first goal Sunday to help Ball State to a 2-1 victory over Northern Illinois in the MAC Tournament. It was her fourth goal of the year. The Cardinals advanced to the semifinals and will meet Toledo at 4 p.m. Friday in Kent, Ohio.
