Soccer Earns Team Academic Award

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State soccer team has once again earned a Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America).

The award reflects academic performance from the 2016-17 academic year and is reserved for teams with a composite GPA of 3.0 or better. The Cardinals' roster combined for a 3.57 GPA last year during its second straight MAC regular season championship campaign.

Ball State is chasing a title again this year. The Cardinals return to action this weekend with home games Friday against Eastern Michigan (4 p.m.) and Sunday against Central Michigan (2 p.m.).
