Three Things to Know:
1. Ball State has won its last six games against Eastern Michigan at Rynearson Stadium. In the most recent meeting at EMU in 2015, the Cardinals trailed 17-0 before rallying for a 28-17 win. Ball State ran for 278 yards and three scores in that victory.
2. Ball State leads the Mid-American Conference in time of possession (33:13) while Eastern Michigan ranks 10th out of 12 teams (29:12). The Cardinals held the ball for a season-high 39:01 last week against Toledo.
3. The Cardinals could become the first team in the FBS to start four quarterbacks this season when they line up against Eastern Michigan. Ball State's third string quarterback, Zack Blair, went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter against Toledo last week. Redshirt freshman QB Drew Plitt made his first collegiate appearance while wrapping up the Toledo contest.
