
Women’s Golf Travels to Louisville for Fall Finale

Action gets underway Saturday at University of Louisville Golf Club
The Ball State women's golf team will close out its fall schedule this weekend, traveling to play just outside Louisville at the Cardinal Cup.
The event, hosted by Louisville, includes 10 teams ranked among the top 75 in the latest Golfstat rankings, led by No. 15 Illinois and No. 16 Kent State.

About the Cardinals
Ball State is headed back to the state of Kentucky for the second consecutive event. The Cardinals competed to weeks ago at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington.
Sophomore Manon Tounalom led the Cardinals in that outing with a tie for 36th place after spending the first two rounds among the top 10 in a talented field. Tounalom has been the team's top finisher in three of the season's first four events, while senior Morgan Nadaline led the team in the other.
The Cardinals will utilize the same five golfers as they did in Lexington, with freshman Reece Malapit making her second straight start. Junior Sydney Anderson and freshman Liz Kim have joined Tounalom and Nadaline in competing in every event this fall.
Coming Up
The Cardinal Cup marks Ball State's fifth and final event of the fall season. The Cardinals will return to action Feb. 9-10 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, hosting the Ball State Sunshine Invitational on the Dye Course at PGA Village.
