Women’s Swimming and Diving Heads to Oxford, Ohio to Take on Miami

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's swimming and diving team returns to action as it travels to Oxford, Ohio to take on Miami Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m.
The following are the Ball State women's swimmers currently in the top 16 in the MAC:

- Freshman Anne Vormohr touched the wall at 2:02.60, putting her in 15th in the 200 backstroke.
- Junior Amanda Kedzierski is sixth in the 100 breaststroke at 1:03.43.
- Senior Jessica Extine's time of 56.03 puts her in 11th place in the 100 butterfly.
- Freshman Sophie Bader has a time of 2:04.98, putting her in 11th in the 200 butterfly.
- Senior Katie Horn sits at 16th in the 200 butterfly with a final time of 2:05.65.
- Senior Jessica Extine leads the team in the 50 freestyle at 23.72 and in the 100 freestyle at 52.18. Extine is also first in the 100 butterfly after touching the wall at 56.03.
- Freshman Cassidy Blackwin leads the team in three events: 200 freestyle (1:55.73), 1000 freestyle (10:40.08) and 1650 freestyle (17:32.66).
- Freshman Anne Vormohr's time of 56.75 leads the team in the 100 backstroke. Vormohr is also first among the Cardinals in the 200 backstroke (2:02.60).
- Sophomore Liz Madison recorded a time of 5:03.13 to lead the team in the 500 freestyle.
- Junior Amanda Kedzierski leads the team in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.43) and in the 200 breaststroke (2:22.23).
- Freshman Sophie Bader has the top times in the 200 butterfly (2:04.98) and in the 200 IM (2:07.36).
- Senior Kimberly Scott has a time of 4:33.47 in the 400 IM, leading the Cardinals in that event.
