Cardinal Notes:
• The Ball State women's basketball team (13-3, 6-1 MAC) will close out its two-game road trip on Wednesday when the Cardinals head to Buffalo, NY to face the Bulls (14-4, 4-3 MAC) at 7 p.m. ESPN3 will show the game from Alumni Arena.
• The Cardinals have had success on the road all season long and own a 4-2 record when traveling to their respective opponents. Ball State is coming off of a 75-53 road win at Bowling Green Saturday which was highlighted by senior center Renee Bennett who scored her 1,000th point with just 36 seconds left in the contest. Ball State now has two players who have reached the 1,000 point mark plateau this season, Jill Morrison did it Dec. 28 at home against Urbana. The Cardinals are also off to their best league start since the 2008-09 season.
• Buffalo holds a 14-4 record heading into Wednesday's game and a 4-3 mark in MAC play. The Bulls have faced three of the teams from the MAC West Division already this conference season. Buffalo recently handed Central Michigan its first loss of the season at Alumni Arena Saturday after defeating the Chippewas, 67-56. Ball State lost to Central Michigan 101-92 earlier in the month on Jan. 11 but has won every game since that loss. The Bulls have suffered setbacks against Toledo (73-64) and at Central Michigan (88-71). The Bulls are 9-1 at home this season.
• Wednesday's game against Buffalo will mark the 25th time in program history the two schools have met with the Cardinals leading the all-time series, 14-10. The Cardinals swept the two-game series over Buffalo last season winning in Worthen Arena by a score of 68-63 and then on the road at Alumni Arena by a score of 59-57.
• Ssturday's game against Northern Illinois is part of a double header with the Ball State men's basketball team and although the game is being dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Worthen Arena the Ball State marketing department has also marked the day as Ball State Women's Basketball Dance Marathon Day. For each student who attends, Pepsi will donate $1 to Dance Marathon for up to $.1,000.

Ball State returns home for a double header with the men's basketball team and will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Worthen Arena. The Ball State men will tipoff at 1 p.m. against Western Michigan and the women are set to play Northern Illinois at 3:30 p.m.
