Men’s Volleyball Match Against Ohio State Changed to Thursday, Feb. 2

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball match against No. 1 Ohio State has been moved to Thursday, Feb. 2 due to a basketball game conflict.
The Cardinals will host the defending national champions in Worthen Arena at 7:30 p.m.
Last season, Ball State went 1-1 against the Buckeyes. In the first meeting on Feb. 6, 2016 in Columbus, the Cardinals rallied from two sets down to stun Ohio State, 3-2 (14-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-11, 18-16). That was Ohio State's final loss of 2016. The Buckeyes prevailed in March defeating Ball State, 3-1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-15) in Worthen.
This year's Cardinals have won six of their seven matches thus far and are currently ranked 13th nationally. Ball State returns to action this Thursday and Friday with home matches against George Mason (Jan. 26) and NJIT (Jan. 27).
