Men’s Volleyball Match Against Ohio State Changed to Thursday, Feb. 2

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball match against No. 1 Ohio State has been moved to Thursday, Feb. 2 due to a basketball game conflict.

The Cardinals will host the defending national champions in Worthen Arena at 7:30 p.m.

Last season, Ball State went 1-1 against the Buckeyes. In the first meeting on Feb. 6, 2016 in Columbus, the Cardinals rallied from two sets down to stun Ohio State, 3-2 (14-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-11, 18-16). That was Ohio State's final loss of 2016. The Buckeyes prevailed in March defeating Ball State, 3-1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-15) in Worthen.

This year's Cardinals have won six of their seven matches thus far and are currently ranked 13^th nationally. Ball State returns to action this Thursday and Friday with home matches against George Mason (Jan. 26) and NJIT (Jan. 27).
