A Look at the Cardinals
• Ball State takes a three-game winning streak on the road to play Saturday at Bowling Green. It is the second meeting between the teams in 15 days. The Falcons took the first one, 76-71, in Muncie on Jan. 7.
• The Cardinals have not lost since that defeat to Bowling Green. BSU is averaging 91.7 points per game over the past three contests. The Cardinals have surpassed 90 points in each of the past two games, marking the first time they have gone over 90 in consecutive games since January 2004.
• Ball State is coming off a 98-83 victory over Central Michigan in a battle of last year's MAC West Division co-champions. Trey Moses led five double-figure scorers with a career-high 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the year.
• Ball State has placed 16 scorers in double figures over the past three games. During that stretch, six Cardinals are averaging double digits -- Franko House (16.3), Tayler Persons (15.7), Francis Kiapway (12.3), Jeremie Tyler (12.3), Ryan Weber (11.0) and Trey Moses (10.0).
• Ball State is the highest scoring team in MAC play at 87.2 points per game. For the full season, the Cardinals are the only team in the league to rank among the top three in the MAC in both field goal percentage (.471, 3rd) and field goal percentage defense (.406, 2nd).
• Ball State's 79.6 points-per-game average for the season is on pace to be its highest in more than 40 years. The last time BSU averaged at least 79 points per game was 1973-74 (84.4).
Inside the Winning Streak
• During its current three-game winning streak, Ball State is scoring 91.7 points per game on 53.2 percent shooting and 42.4 percent from 3-point range.
• During the same stretch, the Cardinals have held their opponents to 78.0 points on 39.8 percent from the floor and 35.3 percent from beyond the arc.
