With only two competitions competing as an all-around gymnast Kaitlyn Menzione placed second with an overall score of 38.975 beating her previous personal best.
"We had a few mistakes tonight, but the energy and the fight this team had throughout the meet was exactly what we want continuing into the season," Saleem stated. "Our goal is to keep chipping away and striving to do better each week."
The Cardinals return home to challenge No. 9 Kentucky Sunday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. EST in Worthen Arena.
