Ormond Earns Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Junior Toni Ormond of the Ball State women's tennis team has been named to the 2016 Academic-All-Mid-American Conference Team, as announced by the league office. This is the second time Ormond has earned the honor.
Ormond owns a 3.93 GPA and is currently working towards a degree in teaching French. Ormond ended the season with a 21-15 overall record and went 18-6 in dual action. She also tied for the best conference mark on the team with a 6-2 ledger. Ormond helped the Cardinals earn their first-ever berth in the NCAA Championships with a 4-0 win over Western Michigan in the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship match. She also helped Ball State to its first-ever MAC regular season title and its best overall record in program history, 22-4 and 7-1 in league play.
