All-Access: Inside Alex Call's Entrepreneurship Day
April 28, 2016 | Baseball
The Entrepreneurship program at Ball State is one of the University's most intensive courses of study. After years of schooling, a student's entire fate rests on one day: E-Day.
E-Day is something of 'Shark Tank' experience. Students put together business proposals and then arrive at the Chase Tower in Indianapolis, the tallest bulding in Indiana, to present those plans to program graduates and business leaders. It's the captsone course for an entrepreneurship major and ends with an A or F.
Call and his partner, senior Hunter Radke, created a business plan for 'The Clean Cookie.' It's a product meant to compete in the world of Clif Bars, Quest Bars and other nutritional snacks. The product was the brainchild of Indianapolis personal trainer Dan Underwood ('02). He came to the entrepreneurship program looking for help taking the prodcut to market. That's were Call and Radke came in. Their plan has helped lead to the cookie being sold on campus and online and created conversations with mainstream retailers.

Call and the Cardinals next play this weekend at Buffalo for a three game series. All three games will be carried live on All-Access and BallStateSports.com. For more information on the Cardinals fans can follow the team @BallStateBB and @BallStateSports.
