Women?s Golf Heads to EKU Colonel Classic

The Ball State women's golf team will play its final full-field event before the Mid-American Conference Championships this weekend in Richmond, Kentucky.
The Cardinals will tee it up at Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic at the University Club at Arlington. The action begins with 36 holes Friday at 8:30 a.m. and concludes with the final round Sunday at 9 a.m. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Ball State has played in EKU's event in three of the past four years, finishing fourth or better each time.
Kelsey Sear leads the Cardinals into the tournament, riding the momentum from a win at Butler's Bulldog Florida Invitational and a third-place finish at Morehead State's Citrus Challenge. Her stroke average over the past two events is 73.4.
Sear will once again be joined in the lineup by Allison Lindley, Morgan Nadaline, Sydney Anderson and Kayla Adamson.
The 11-team field also includes Austin Peay, Belmont, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee Tech.
