Women?s Golf Fourth after Day 2 at Citrus Challenge

SORRENTO, Fla. -- The Ball State women's golf team remained in the top 5 of Morehead State's Citrus Challenge with a second-round score of 310 on Monday.
The Cardinals own a 36-hole total of 604 (+28) through two rounds at Red Tail Golf Club and are just seven strokes off the lead. Elon and James Madison (+21) share the top spot, while Western Kentucky (+26) is third. Ball State is tied for fourth with Morehead State and North Florida.
Kelsey Sear led the Cardinals with a second-round 76, while the team also counted a 77 from Kayla Adamson, a 78 from Sydney Anderson and a 79 from Morgan Nadaline.
Sear is tied for fifth out of 118 golfers in the 20-team field with a score of 146 (+2). She is four shots off the lead held by Elon's Kelsey Badmaev.
Adamson is tied for 24th at 152 (+8), while Anderson is tied for 35th at 153 (+9). Nadaline is tied for 39th at 154 (+10), and Allison Lindley is tied for 56th at 157 (+13).
The tournament's third and final round will be played Tuesday.
