Berger Earns MAC Tennis Player of The Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Freshman Audrey Berger of the Ball State women's tennis team earned Mid-American Conference Tennis Singles Player of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday.
Berger, a true freshman, earned a come from behind victory in her first appearance at the No. 2 singles position over Cincinnati's Lauren Bellinger. Berger's win tied the score 3-3 which would boost Ball State's moral to go on and win the match over the Bearcats by a score of 4-3.
With the win, the Cardinals extended their win streak to seven in spring play, Berger also remains undefeated (10-0) in dual action.
The Ball State women's tennis team continues its spring action when it plays against James Madison Friday in Orlando, Fla.
