Women?s Golf Ready for Rio Verde Invite

The Ball State women's golf team is set to tee it up in Arizona this weekend at the 14th annual Rio Verde Invitational.
The 54-hole event will be played over three days, starting Friday at 1 p.m. MT (3 p.m. ET) on the White Wing Course at Rio Verde Country Club.
Western Michigan is the tournament host, and the 16-team field also includes Akron, Arkansas State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Little Rock, Missouri State, Northern Arizona, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Seton Hall, Toledo, UMKC, Wichita State and Xavier.
The Rio Verde Invitational marks Ball State's second event of the spring season. Allison Lindley (T-6) and Kelsey Sear (T-11) led the Cardinals two weeks ago at the FGCU Eagle Invitational.
The same six golfers will compete for Ball State this weekend – Lindley, Sear, Sydney Anderson, Kayla Adamson, Morgan Nadaline and Meghan McDougall.
