Mooney and Gullett Earn Field Hockey All-MAC Honors

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Mid-American Conference announced members of the 2016 All-MAC First and Second Teams Thursday morning and two Ball State Cardinals made the list.
Senior Mikayla Mooney was named to the All-MAC First Team for the first time in her career. Mooney, one of the 2016 team captains, finished the regular season with four goals, two assists, 28 shots and 10 points.
Sophomore Darbi Gullett also earned an All-MAC selection as part of the All-MAC Second Team. Gullet wrapped up the 2016 regular season with three goals, one assist, 20 shots and seven points.
Mooney, Gullett and the whole field hockey squad will look to take down top-seeded Kent State in the MAC Tournament Friday. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
